About Live Preview Rendering

The Live Preview Rendering provides a raytracing global illumination rendering of your current scene approaching your render output, but optimized for interaction.

In the upper-left corner of the Live Preview window, you can choose the camera. Dependent on whether the camera of the viewport (Free Camera), or the camera of the current scene (Scene Camera) is selected, the corresponding camera view is displayed in the window. If the camera displayed in the app's viewer is matching the selected one in the Live Preview window, it gets updated according to the navigation in the viewport, or when selecting another scene.

Note: The Live Preview window always shows the visible space even if you activated the invisible space from the action bar.

The size of the Preview Rendering window changes according to the aspect ratio, specified in the scene's camera properties.

For more information, see Specify the Aspect Ratio for Scene Cameras.

Note: The Quality settings specified in the Render export are not taken into account for the displayed preview rendering.
