Scenes Panel

The Scenes panel provides commands for creating and managing Scenes.

A Scene consists of the product or products, the scene camera, and optionally an ambience. It can also contain product or part variations like different material assignments, visibility, and position changes.

You can access the Scenes panel through the content panel on the left side of the user interface. For more information about scenes, see Scenes.

Selecting Scenes

When you click once on the scene thumbnail, it is activated and highlighted by a blue frame. The viewport then displays the currently active Scene until you start navigating so that the camera of the viewport takes over.

To access some of the actions available in the top bar of the panel, you need to use a different way of selecting scenes: By checking at least one scene in the upper-right corner of its thumbnail. Scenes selected in this way are indicated by a smaller thumbnail and a blue check icon .

Create New Scene
Creates a new scene from the viewport.
The new scene takes over all the product, camera, and ambience information from the viewport.
Duplicate Scenes
Duplicates the checked scenes.
The duplicated scene appears at the last position in the Scenes panel.
Remove Scenes
Deletes the checked scenes.
