Selecting Multiple Assets

You can select multiple assets at the same time, to perform various actions with these.

  1. To select multiple assets, depending on your context, do one of the following:

    Context Action
    Thumnails layout
    • From the app toolbar, click (tap) Multi selection , and select the assets of your choice.
    • To select all the assets from the place or collection you work in at once, from the app toolbar, click (tap) Multi Select Dropdown and select Select all .
    • While hovering over an asset, click (tap) , and select the assets of your choice.

    • From the app toolbar, click (tap) Multi selection , and select the assets of your choice.
    • To select all the assets from the place or collection you work in at once, do one of the following:
      • From the app toolbar, click (tap) Multi Select Dropdown and select Select all .
      • From the app toolbar, click (tap) Multi selection and select the top-level check box of the first column.

    Tip: Click (tap) Unselect all to cancel any selection.
    Note: Depending on the place (collaborative space or 3DDrive folder) from where you select multiple assets, the actions that you can perform with these assets differ. For more information, see the other topics of this user's guide.

    The Multi selection command turns blue and indicates that you are in the multiselection mode.
  2. Optional: To exit the multiselection mode, click (tap) Multi selection .
