Managing Members of Collections

You can add new members to your existing collections and adjust the permissions of these members to determine their ability to work with your collections and their content.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin:
  • Select the Collections tab of xMedia.
  • The functionality is available only if you are assigned the Can manage permission. For more information, see Permissions.

Share Collections with Additional Members

You can share collections with additional members.

  1. From a collection of your choice, click (tap) Menu and select Manage Members .
  2. In the Manage Members dialog box, enter the name or trigram of one or more collaborators you want to share your collection with.

    Note: You can enter the name of an entire group of collaborators.

  3. From the permission list, click (tap) and select a permission to assign to the specified collaborators.

    Permissions dictate the way you and other collaborators can work with the content of the app.

  4. Click (tap) Share.

The members that you add can now work with your collection according to their specified permission.

Edit the Responsibility of Members

You can modify the permissions of the members of your collections.

  1. From a collection of your choice, click (tap) Menu and select Manage Members .
  2. In the Manage Members dialog box, from the list of members, click (tap) Menu next to a member whose permission you want to modify, and select a new permission.

The permission of the specified member changes automatically.
