Product Toolbar

The Product toolbar provides commands for updating the properties and content of a product and its children. Some commands are available only in either Usage view or Reference view.

Icon Description
Search
Search the child engineering list by title. For more information, see Filtering Listed Items by Title.


Add
Add child products, documents, or drawings. You can either select them from the database or create new ones.
Note: Unavailable in Flattened view


Paste
Paste information from the clipboard.
Note: Unavailable in Flattened view


Advanced Filter
Filter the product list.
For more information, see Advanced Filtering.
Multilevel Expansion

Control the number of levels of child products that appear in the list:

Expand All - Expand all levels.

Expand N levels - Select the number of levels to expand.

Collapse All - Collapse all levels.

Direct / Flattened View
Switch between these views:
  • Direct - show first-level items. Expand '+' in each row to view more levels.
  • Flattened - show only leaf-level items.
(Reference)(Usage)
Reference View / Usage View
Switch between these views:
  • Reference - group items by object type and display the quantity at each level.
  • Usage - show each instance of each object.
Show only Manufacturable/Procurable items
Show only manufacturable items. You are prompted to switch to Index view when you select this command.


Group By
Group the table by attribute.
Attributes Management
Add or remove attribute columns from the child products list.
