Excluding Objects from a Manufacturing Definition

All objects in a product structure are assumed to be part of the manufacturing definition for the product. However, you can exclude objects as required. To exclude objects from a manufacturing definition:

  1. In the child product list, select one or more objects to exclude.
  2. Click Information and select Properties tab.
  3. Click Edit mode and move the Manufacturable/Procurable slider to the left.

The child product list shows which objects are manufacturable/procurable. In the Manufacturable/Procurable column, look for .

To view only objects that are manufacturable/procurable (hide excluded objects), click Show only Manufacturable/Procurable Itemsin the child product list toolbar.
