Connect |
- Click and drag from an output/input to another input/output and drop to
connect them.
- Click and drag from an output to an output and drop to change the origin of
the connections.
- Click and drag from an input to an input and drop to change the destination of
the connection.
- Double-click an input/output, then click on another output/input/node to
connect them (to stop this connection mode, press Escape
or close the notification message).
- Move a node and align its connectors to another node’s connectors to
automatically connect them. To stop this auto-connection mode, shake the node up
and down, and then drop it.
- When an output is selected, press Alt, and then click
an input to connect the two elements.
- Press Ctrl + click, and drag from a connected input to
start a new connection with the same origin.

Copy and paste |
The copy-and-paste capability is available for nodes, regions, and notes. You
can paste these graph elements and their attributes in any 3D part belonging to your
root product or in a 3D part belonging to another product.

Delete |
- Press Del to delete a selected node, region, or
connection.
- Click the Delete button in the context bar that appears when selecting an
element.

Edit and reframe |
- To reframe the view on a specific area of your graph, use the Minimap. For
more information, see Minimap.
- To reframe the view on a specific element and edit it, click the element.

Edit an operation |
Double-click inside a node. When you double-click inside a node in the Graph
Editor, the related operation dialog box appears in the main window to let you
edit the operation. If the Overlay mode is activated, the Graph Editor
disappears temporally to let you edit the operation in the main window. It appears
again automatically after you validate or cancel your modification. For more
information about the Overlay mode, see Operators Library. |
Move an operation or a region |

Select |
- Click to select a single graph element or to clear a selection.
- Press Ctrl + click to add a graph element to the
current selection.
- Click and drag to select elements using a rectangle trap.
- Press Ctrl + click and drag to add elements within a
rectangle trap to the current selection.
Notes:
- Selecting a single element (operation, region, or connector) allows to edit
it.
- Multiselecting elements allows to display the context bar to access
additional commands.

Search for an operation or a region |
Within your graph, a search box lets you find a specific operation or
region.
- Press Ctrl + F.
- In the box that appears, enter a search string.
Results corresponding to a
name or a type are displayed in a list.
- To display a result, hover over an element in the list or use the arrow keys
to move up and down in the results.
The search result is highlighted and the
graph view is centered on the result. Note:
To cancel a search and restore
your original view, press Esc or click in the
graph.
- To select a search result, click it in the list or press
Enter.

Search for an operator |
In the Operators library, use the Search box to easily find an operator and add
it to your graph. For more information, see About the Search Feature. |
