Document or Specification Identity Card

The identity card provides basic information about a document or specification associated with the model version, and allows you to change its owner and maturity level. To view the identity card, open the document or specification. For more information, see Viewing Information About a Document or Specification.

Field Description
Title and version number of the document or specification The title of the document or specification file and its current version number. Initially, this is the name of the file uploaded to the document or specification when it was created.
Type The type of object: Document or Product Specification
Owner The person who is responsible for the document or specification. Initially this is the person who originally uploaded the file to the document or specification. Click the owner's name to change ownership to another person.
Creation Date The date on which the document or specification was added to the model version.
Maturity The current lifecycle maturity state of the document or specification. Documents are created in the In Work state. Specifications are created in the Plan state. Click the maturity state to promote or demote the document or specification to another lifecycle state.
Modification Date The date on which the document or specification was last modified.
Locked By If the document or specification has been locked for editing by another user, the name of that user.
Description of the document or specification The detailed description of the document or specification.
LATEST FILE SIZE The size of the latest file uploaded to the document or specification, in bytes.
