Variant Identity Card

The variant's identity card provides basic information about the variant, allows you to change the owner and maturity level of the variant, or to delete it. To view the variant's identity card, open the variant. For more information, see Opening a Variant.

Identity Card Fields

Field Description
Title of the variant The title of the variant.
Responsible The person who is responsible for the variant. Initially this is the person who created the variant. Click the owner's name to change ownership, collaborative space, or organization.
Maturity The current lifecycle state of the variant. Variants are created in the Preliminary state. Click the maturity state to promote or demote the variant to another lifecycle state.
Creation Date The date on which the variant was created. This field does not display when the identity card is collapsed.
Modification Date The date on which the variant was last modified.
Description of the variant The detailed description of the variant. If there is none, No Description is displayed. This field does not display when the identity card is collapsed.

Maturity Opens the Maturity dialog box where you can promote or demote the variant to a different lifecycle state. Changing Maturity
Move To Opens the Move dialog box where you can change the variant's organization, collaborative space, or the user responsible for it. Moving Objects to Another Collaborative Space or Organization
Relations Opens the Relations app showing the objects related to the variant. Relations
Information Opens the variant's properties pane. Variant Information Pane
Delete Deletes the variant. —
