Specification Management

Specification Management lets you create and manage documents.

Using Specification Management, you can perform the following actions.

  • Create documents and product specifications.
  • Generate release snapshot.
  • Modify the details of documents and product specifications.
  • Manage product specification BOM.

Specification Management is an app in the 3DDashboard. For information about dashboard app behavior, see Managing Widgets.

To use Specification Management, you must have the Specification Manager user role.

The release snapshot templates for documents and product specifications can be created in the Report Template Design app. For more information, see Introductory Concepts: Report Definition and Generation. To access Report Template Design, you must have the Report Template Administrator role.
