Creating a TPM

You can create a Technical Performance Measurement (TPM).

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Administrator, Leader
  • App-specific: Contracts Manager, Data Manager, Program Controls Specialist, Subcontract Administrator


Before you begin: Program and Contract Management must be the active app.

Opening a Project
  1. Do one of the following to create a TPM:
    • From the top bar, click Add > Program Mgmt.
    • Click Create TPM .

    Or

    • List the app categories for Program and Contract Management.
    • In the navigation pane, click Program Mgmt > TPMs.
    • From the page Actions menu or toolbar, click Create TPM .

    Or

    • Open a project.
    • In the navigation pane, click Project Requirements.
    • Click the TPMs tab.
  2. Enter the following information:
    Field Name Description
    Type TPM is the type.
    Name Enter the name of the TPM or select Autoname to automatically name the TPM.
    Number Enter the number of TPMs to create.
    Title Enter the title for the TPM.
    Project Click to select the project connected to the TPM.
    Current Uncertainty Value Enter the current uncertainty in the current value of the requirement.
    Current Value Effective Date Click to select the effective date for the current value.
    Description Enter a detailed description of the TPM.
    Current Value Enter the current value of the performance measurement.
    Owner Click to select the user responsible for the TPM.
    Responsible Organization Click to select the organization responsible for the TPM.
    Unit of Measure Select the applicable unit of measure for the TPM.
    Required Value Enter the specified value to be achieved as a requirement.
    Required Uncertainty Value Enter the tolerance of the performance measurement required.
    Required Value Effective Date Click to select the effective date for the required value.
    Category Select HW (Hardware) or SW (Software).
    Security Select the level of security.
  3. Click OK.
