Certification Basis

Certification Basis is the listing of regulations and their applicability to the product or CI. You can define Certification Basis from a Product or a CI.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Reader
  • App-specific: Global User

Before you begin: A CI or product must exist.

Creating a Regulation
  1. Open a product or a CI.
  2. In the navigation pane for a product or CI, click Certification.
  3. Click the Certification Basis tab.
  4. From the page Actions menu, click Add Existing .
  5. Click to search for regulations to add.
  6. Click OK.
    The added regulation is listed on the Certification Basis tab.
  7. From the page Actions menu or toolbar, click Enable Edit to fill in the Certification Basis for each regulation.
  8. Click inside the columns for Certification Status, Means of Compliance, and Related Test Cases and select from the list. You can also edit the Title, Description, Amendment, Effective Date, Comments, Agency, and Status.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Click Disable Edit .
