Creating Contract Sections

You can create a contract section from a contract part.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Administrator, Leader
  • App-specific: Contracts Manager, owner of the contract

Before you begin: Program and Contract Management must be the active app and a contract part must exist.

Creating Contract Parts
  1. Open a contract part. For more information, see Opening a Contract Part.
  2. In the navigation pane, click UCF.
  3. Check the box next to the contract part in which to add the section.
  4. From the toolbar, click Actions > Create Section .
  5. Enter the following information:
    Field NameDescription
    Section NumberEnter the contract section number.
    Section TitleEnter the contract section title.
    Page NumberEnter the page number for the contract section.
    Heading DescriptionEnter the heading description for the contract section.
    Heading TextEnter the heading text for the contract section.
    Includes the Following Contract ArtifactsClick to select the contract artifacts to be included in the contract section.
  6. Click OK.

The new contract section is listed under its related contract part in the UCF.
