Creating an Unloading Operation

By default, when you create a track, the operation associated with it is created as a Loading operation. You can use the F2 key to create an Unloading operation directly from a Loading operation.

The new reversed operation is added to the beginning of the sequence with a "-" sign in the upper right corner (to differentiate it from the Loading operation). For Unloading operations, the part jumps to the initial design position.

Before you begin:

Have a scenario open that already contains Loading operations.

  1. Select the part whose Loading operation you want to reverse.
The edit track mode is activated.

  2. Press the F2 key.
A new Unloading operation is added at the beginning of the sequence, marked with a (-) sign in its upper right corner to distinguish it from the Loading operation.

  3. Select the F2 key again.
The system toggles to the Loading operation for the selected part.
Note: There is only one Loading and one Unloading operation allowed for any given part. Once the Unloading operation is created from the initial Loading operation, the two operations can evolve independently (that is, modifying one does not affect the other).
  4. Once you have completed your modifications, exit the edit mode (by double-clicking in the work area), and replay the sequence using the Play button in the Compass to simulate the Unloading operation. See Simulating the Operations.
