Create a 3D Part
In this scenario, you create a 3D Part and edit its attributes.
-
			  In the
				top bar,
				click
				Add > Content.

The New content dialog box appears. > Content.

The New content dialog box appears.Important: For more about the New content dialog box, see 3DEXPERIENCE Platform: Creating New Objects.
-
			 Select
				3D Part.

			 appears.
-
In the 3D Part dialog box, from the 3D
Part tab, define attributes for the representation:
					- Title
- Description. Note: The Name box displays the non-editable and unique key server identifier.
- Manufacturable/Procurable: Select Yes to indicate that the object is to be part of the manufacturing definition.

-
From the 3D Shape tab, define attributes for the
						representation:
					- 3D Shape Name
Note: By default, the name of the representation is provided in the 3D Shape Name box with the unique key server identifier. You can accept the default name or give a different representation name.
- Description

- 3D Shape Name

-
From the Characteristics tab, choose among the
hybrid design and geometric set options:
					- Enable hybrid design: to work in a hybrid design
		environment.
By default, this option is selected.
- Create a geometrical set: to gather various
features in a same set or sub-set and organize the
		tree
when it becomes too complex or too long.
By default, this option is not selected.
- Create an ordered geometrical set: the order of
		apparition of features in the
		tree
is consistent with the steps of creation of the design.
By default, this option is not selected.

- Enable hybrid design: to work in a hybrid design
		environment.

-
			 Click
				OK.

The 3D part and its 3D shape representation are created.
