Subscription Management

The Subscription page lets you view existing subscriptions. Some types let you push a subscription to other people or Member Lists. Typically, supervisors push subscriptions to the people who report to them, however, any user can push subscriptions for an item to other users. Subscriptions cannot be pushed to an access role.

Some apps use the original Subscriptions dialog box instead of the Subscription Management page to subscribe to events for objects, such as Bookmarks. For those objects, you select the events you want and click OK.

The apps can use either the original method for pushing subscriptions or the consolidated method described here. The original method uses separate menu commands for subscribing yourself to events and pushing subscriptions to other people (see Pushing Subscriptions). The consolidated method uses a single page where you can do both.
