Colors
As soon as you select a solid, pulling directions, faces, or facets are displayed in different colors. By default:
  • Green is for cavity
  • Red for core
  • Yellow for slider
  • Blue for other
  • Pink for vertical
  • Orange for undercut.

Colors are editable.

Tips
  • Selection tools are available in the Selection Tools section of the action bar.
  • To optimize the computation of faces in undercut, specify CPU usage level for computationally intensive operations as Maximal in the General > PCS tab in Me > Preferences.
Limitations
  • You cannot define the pulling direction with your own specific coordinates.
  • Mold areas are not displayed, nor computed, nor extracted.
  • You cannot force faces to vertical or undercut areas.
  • The output of this command cannot be used directly by Search Fillets.
Output
The pulling directions are created, under SetofPullingDirections, as MainPullingDirection and SecondaryPullingDirection.
Note: The faces remain colored once you have exited the wizard.
