Using the Robot in Pulling Direction

You can manipulate the active pulling direction from its Robot.

About Pulling Direction
  1. Activate a pulling direction.



  2. Click the green and red arrow (1) to invert the pulling direction.
  3. Double-click the center of the Robot (2) to lock/unlock the active pulling direction.

    When several pulling directions exist, only one Robot can be active.

    The direction on the left is locked and not active, the one on the right is unlocked and active.

  4. Drag the handles (3) to rotate the Robot.
  5. Click the axis (4) to select a secondary axis.
  6. Click Edit Coordinates to modify the coordinates of the Robot.
  7. Drag the Robot on a face.
    Its Z-axis is the normal to the face.
  8. Drag the Robot to an empty space.
    It takes the orientation of the reference axis system of the part.
  9. With the key Shift pressed, drag the Robot over the shape to analyze the draft angle of the hovered point.
