Batches

You can run some of the batches available either from the command line, or using a dedicated tool called the Batch Monitor.

The Batch Monitor does not run within the 3DEXPERIENCE process, whether it is accessed from a session or from the command line. The Batch Monitor is a standalone process: it remains open after the session is closed and shareable licences can be granted to a batch only if the role is assigned to the batch user in the Compass.

When run from a 3DEXPERIENCE session, the Batch Monitor uses the licenses stored on the server when connecting to 3DEXPERIENCE. It is not possible to acquire licenses from the Batch Monitor.

Note: You cannot use batches with a shareable license.
