Primary Area

The primary area of the View section provides commands for applying rendering styles, using ray tracing, or defining the way you want to view objects.

View Modes ...
Lets you modify the current view using predefined view modes.
You can also apply default or customizable appearances to your objects.

Visual Quality...
Lets you modify the rendering performance and the visualization quality.

Ambience and Camera
Lets you customize some parameters for predefined ambiences, and for the current camera.

Interactive Ray Tracing

Volatile Ghosting
Temporarily hides elements behind or inside the model to display hidden details.

Flyout for Interactive Ray Tracing

Ray Tracing
Activates or deactivates ray tracing.
This view mode computes high quality and physically realistic images with advanced global illumination effects. The command applies to the current view only.

Distributed Stellar
Activates or deactivates distributed ray tracing for the current view.
This helps you produce high quality images using a cluster of computers.

To run Distributed Stellar, the DIR license is required and the cluster configuration needs to be defined in the Preferences.

Stellar Rendering Log
Opens the Stellar ray tracing log window.
Stellar ray tracing log window provides additional information about rendering process, including rendering progress, warnings or errors.
