Viewing Object Properties in the Catalog Browser

You can view the properties of the classified items such as reference, representation, document and component families available under the selected chapter except for feature. The display of multiple objects are not supported from the Catalog Browser.

  1. Open the catalog browser.
    The Choose a Catalog or Chapter dialog box appears. For more information about how to open a catalog in Catalog Browser, see Opening a Catalog in the Catalog Browser.
  2. Choose a chapter from the search results list and click OK.
    The selected chapter is available in the Catalog Browser. The details of the number of items contained in the chapter content are available on the right side.
  3. To view the properties of the selected object, right-click the selected classified items and select Object Properties.
    The Properties dialog box appears. This dialog box lists only the metadata attributes of the selected classified items.
    Notes:
    • The part parameters are not available from the Catalog Browser.
    • You cannot modify the object attributes from the Catalog Browser.
