Creating a New Library PLM Revision with a New Modelica Version

You can create a new PLM revision with a new Modelica version of a library.

Tip: If you have versioning issues in a Modelica library or behavior, consider using the Versioning Assistant. The Versioning Assistant includes also this command.

  1. From the Behavior Authoring section of the action bar, click New Library PLM Revision .
  2. From the Package Browser, click the library you want to create a new revision and Modelica version of.
    The library name appears in the New Library PLM Revision dialog box.
    Note: The current Modelica version and the current revision of the library is displayed in the third column. The revision is in brackets.
  3. Enter the new Modelica version in the box in the third column.

    Important:
    • You can only enter the Modelica version, the revision is updated automatically.
    • The Modelica version must be unique for a given library to avoid conflict in the database.

  4. Click OK to validate.
    As a result:
    • A new revision of the library, with a new Modelica version, is created and saved in the database.
    • The new revision is loaded in session.
