App Options Panel

The App Options panel provides options for managing System Editor display and views, object selections, and filter variants.

To access the App Options panel, from the Tools section of the action bar, select App Options .

This page discusses:

System Editor Display

Show All Parts.
See Flyout for Visualizing the 3D Representations on System and Operation Tiles.
Display Parts in Absolute Scale.
See Flyout for Managing the Scale of 3D Representations on System Tiles.
Display Time Constraints.

If selected, this option allows you to display time constraints between operations in the System Editor. By default, these constraints are represented by light-blue colored lines between operation tiles.

By default, the option is not selected, and the time constraint links are not displayed.

See Links Between Operation Tiles.
Display Constraints for Implemented Objects.
If selected, this option allows you to display constraints that are due to implemented objects. For example, these constraints may be data requirements retrieved from items scoped by systems or workplans.

Constraints from scoped objects are represented by transparent arrows that are displayed between System tiles in the System Editor.

By default, the option is selected, and the constraints from scoped objects are displayed.

See Links Between Systems or Workplans Tiles.

Flyout for Visualizing the 3D Representations on System and Operation Tiles

Show All Parts.
Shows all parts assigned to current system and previous systems in the product flow on the System tile.
Note: This option can lead to performance issues with large datasets. In this case, use the Show Only Concerned Parts option to reduce the amount of 3D to display above each tile.
See Use Visualization Modes.
Show Only Concerned Parts.
Shows only the parts assigned to the current system on the System tile.
See Use Visualization Modes.
Show Unconcerned Parts as Transparent.
Shows parts assigned to current system on the System tile, with parts from previous systems in the product flow displayed as transparent.
See Use Visualization Modes.
Hide All Parts.
Hides parts on the System tile.
See Use Visualization Modes.

Flyout for Managing the Scale of 3D Representations on System Tiles

Display Parts in Absolute Scale.
Displays parts on the System tiles using an absolute scale.
See Use Scale Modes.
Display Parts in Relative Scale.
Displays parts on the System tiles using a relative scale.
See Use Scale Modes.

PPR Object Filter Selection

PPR Object Selection
When activated:
  • When you select a product, the associated implementing items are also selected.
  • The tree is centered on selected objects.
To do so, select the corresponding options in Me > Preferences > App Preferences > Simulation > Digital Manufacturing Apps Common Services > Manufacturing Planning Apps Common Services > PPR tree & selection.

Select

Select
Select and the other options in its flyout are used to select objects in the tree or the 3D area.

By default, Select is the proposed option.

For more information, see 3DEXPERIENCE Platform : Native Apps Common Services: User Interface: App Options Panel.

Filter Variants

Filter Variants
Lets you combine and store filters commonly used for patches, faces, and edges.
For more information, see 3DEXPERIENCE Native Apps: Native Apps Common Services: Selecting.
