General Information

This contains some general information regarding the user, date, and time of generation of the XML.

General

Attributes:

  • Version: The application level.
  • Level: The level of the XML.

Piece Part

This section provides the environment variables.

This shows a snapshot of Plate XML Piece Part Information.

This contains the product information under these attributes:

  • User Name: The user name who generates this XML file.
  • UUID: The GUID/UUID of the plate for which the XML extracts.
  • Time Stamp: The time stamp of the plate o the last modification in the format MM-DD-YYYY HH:MM:SS.
  • Plate Name: The title of the plate.
  • Material: The type of material.
  • Thickness: The thickness of the plate.
  • User Defined Text: The user-defined texts under annotation
    • Text Value: The value if the text.
    • Font Name
      • Font Name: The type of the font.
      • Color: The color of the font.
      • Font Size: The size of the font.
      • Bold: Select if you want bold (true) or not (false).
      • Italic: Select if you want italic (true) or not (false).
      • Underline: Select if you want the text underlined (true) or not (false).
    • Justification: Select the justification you would like to see, example Left, Right.
    • Anchor Point: The location of the anchor, example, in the lower part to the left.
    • Orientation: The orientation position.
    • Point Y : The X, Y, and ID location.

Plane

This section provides the Plane node that provides an Origin, U direction, and V direction of Burn Side Up feature. All cutting and marking feature are projected to the 2D surface based on the U and V direction of Burn Side Up.

This contains the transformation matrix of the plane with respect to the plate. This node provides plane information such as,

  • Origin, which is the Burn Side Up Position.
  • First direction, which is the U direction.
  • Second direction, V direction.
This is with respect to the Plane (Projected value) with these attributes:

  • Origin Y: The X,Y,Z location.
  • First Direction Y: The first direction location.
  • Second Direction Y: The second direction location.

Orientation

This section explains the Orientation node, which provides the plate orientation with respect to the ship.

This contains the product information under these attributes:

    • Font Size: The size of the font.

Cutting

This section contains the information of the notes to provide feature geometry and graphic information.

All the ingredients of geometry information are analyzed and then provided with Line, Arc, and Curve.

  • Geometry information is related to each edge of manufacturing feature.
  • Edge preparation shows as a node under a line/arc/curve node.
  • Margin shows as the text node under a line/arc/curve node.

Cutting Closed: Is this cutting closed, True, or False.

Type-Outer Contour

The Cutting node occurrence is 1 or more. This node provides the information about cutting type features such as Outer Contour, Cut Opening and Bridged Opening. Cutting Attribute: If this cutting closes, the value is True, and the type is a Manufacturing feature type, otherwise, False.

  • Geometry,

    Line ID: The ID number for that line. This may repeat depending on how many lines.

    • Point Y : The Y, X and ID location, Start.
    • Point Y : The X, Y, and ID location, End.

  • Graphic,
    • Line Type: The line type for the line.
    • Line Thickness: The line thickness of the line.
    • Color: The color of the line.
    • layer: The layer it resides on.



Type - Cut Opening

This could have an Arc ID or only Line ID in the Geometry section.

  • Geometry,

    Arc ID: The ID number for that Arc. This may repeat depending on how many.

      • Point Y : The Y, X, and ID location- Start Point.
      • Point Y : The X, Y, and ID location- Middle Point.
      • Point Y : The X, Y, and ID location- End Point.
      • Radius: The radius
      • Point Y : The X, Y, and ID location- Origin.
    • Line ID: The ID number for that line. This may repeat depending on how many.
      • Point Y : The Y, X, and ID location, Start.
      • Point Y : The X, Y, and ID location, End.
  • Graphic,
    • Line Type: The line type for the line.
    • Line Thickness: The line thickness of the line.
    • Color: The color of the line.
    • layer: The layer it resides on.




Marking Feature

This section contains the information of the marking node occurrence, which is 1 or more. This node provides marking type features such as Attachment line, Reference line, Marked opening, drilled opening.

Marking Closed: Is the marking closed, the value is True, and the type is Manufacturing feature type, or it can be False

Type: What the type is.

Side: What side it is.

Geometry

  • Point ID: Node ID.
  • Point, Y,X: Information on each control point.
  • Weight: The weight of the knot.
