The minor version of the product updates in the tree.

Note: As there are feature updates only for main manufactured parts, sub manufactured parts are out-of-date status. To update sub manufactured parts, use Using Identical Part Management of Profiles, then new light representations generate.

Reviewing the Impact of Design Changes

You can synchronize the In-Process Model with any design changes.

Click Play to watch the video:

  1. From the Authoring section of the action bar, click Synchronization Manager .
The Mfg Synchronization Manager panel appears.
Note: When design changes happen after feature generation in Simplified Mode, you can synchronize the features for the modified design through the Synchronization Manager.
  2. In the Mfg Synchronization Manager panel, click Compute.
The Structure manufacturing feature panel lists the design features that have been modified.
  3. Click Synchronize to update the In-Process Model.
The Status for design features that had a status of Modified are changed to Up-To-Date.

Note: After executing synchronization for revision, the resulting product and its manufacturing representation's features update according to the revised parts recognized by the Synchronization Manager. Because Synchronization Manager only updates the features for the main manufactured parts, sub manufactured parts do not update. To update sub manufactured parts, run Using Identical Part Management of Profiles.

  4. Close the Mfg Synchronization Manager panel and open the modified product in a new tab by selecting it in the tree and clicking Open Resulting Product in New Tab .
    The resulting product updates.
  5. Generate and open the workshop document for a modified product.
The workshop document for the product updates.

Synchronizing for Shrinkage Compensation
