Generating a Vision Analysis Report

You can generate a report that analyzing different aspects of what the manikin sees.

Before you begin: Have a manikin in your scenario.

  1. Click New Report .
  2. Select the manikin.
    The Report Definition panel appears.
  3. Change the format to html, select the File, and change the Files of type so that the report is saved in HTML format and in the correct location.
  4. Select Vision Analysis.
  5. From the Available list, click the right arrow to move it to the Selected list, and click OK.
  6. To view what the manikin is seeing, click Vision to open the Vision panel.

    Note: This new version of the window displays only a portion of the peripheral field of view around the focus point.



  7. Click Updates all constraints and manikin representations .

    The results of the analysis are in its log file. For example:

  8. Manipulate the parameters, click Update .
    The value of the line of sight length and, for files in HTML format, a bitmap of the window exports to the specified file.
