A scope is defined as the intersection of one or more of the following dimensions, at any chosen level of aggregation:

  • An item (product category, family...), and
  • A stock location (region, country, ...).

The chart is split into two parts in time:

  • Actual inventory in the past and in the current period.
  • Projected inventory in current and future periods.

While you can see the inventory value in periods with actuals, for periods with projected inventory value, you can see the projected performance per scenario (can perform side-by-side scenario comparison).

If you are investigating a defined maximum inventory value for the supply chain scope, you can view it in the chart.
