Synchronizing a Spot Weld Trajectory

You can update a spot weld trajectory when changes occur in the design position of spot fasteners.

Design fasteners can be modified after the manufacturing data is created when correcting issues that are discovered during analysis in the resource detailing stage. When design data is changed it is required to update the manufacturing data, including spot weld trajectories.

A spot weld trajectory can be updated when:

  • A fastener associated to a manufacturing weld has been modified from its original position.
  • A fastener has been deleted from the fastener set (the associated manufacturing weld is also deleted).
