Accessing and Customizing Preferences

You can access and customize preferences for Robot Simulation.

  1. Select Me > Preferences.
    The Preferences dialog box appears.
  2. From the All Preferences tab, select Simulation > Robotics > Robot Simulation in the left-hand pane.
  3. In the right-hand pane, expand the section corresponding to the desired options.

    Options in this tab... Allow you to customize...
    Configuration and Effectivity Filters Controls the visualization and behavior of filtered trajectories and tasks.
    Resource Set Template Preferences Specifies a favorite resource set, lists all available templates and allows you to enable required templates.
    Tag Visualization Tag appearance (color, text, symbol) and size.
    Robot Task Display Colors and appearance for cartesian targets, joint targets, lines.
    Teach Layout Preferences Create customized layouts that are included in the Teach table.
    Teach Dialog Preferences Define custom cell colors for Spot, Arc, and Surface operations in the Teach table.
    Template Libraries Preferences Select saved template libraries as favorites.
    RRS Simulation Connection, message window, RRS-I properties.

  4. Set these preferences according to your needs.
  5. Click OK to save the settings and exit the Preferences dialog box.
