Open the Run MQL window:

From the compass, select Collaboration and
Approvals.

In the navigation pane, click .
To run an MQL command, enter the command in the
MQL Command box and click Run
or press Enter.
- To set the context for the MQL session, run this command:
set context user creator; -
Add all formats that you want to associate with the viewer. To add a format,
run this command:
add format <NAME> description <DESCRIPTION> suffix <SUFFIX>; Where:
<NAME> is the name of the format
<DESCRIPTION> is a brief description, usually
defining the software that uses the format
<SUFFIX> is the file extension used for the
format

Register the viewer with Collaboration and Approvals as described in Registering Your Own Administrative Objects.

Assign the formats for the viewer as described in Assigning Formats to Viewers.

Specify the file extensions that should be opened in viewers as described in
Viewer Properties.

Define the formats for which users can choose a preferred viewer. For example,
if you have more than one viewer registered for a format, you might want to let
users choose the viewer they prefer. See Viewer Properties.

Make sure everyone who needs to use the viewer has the client app installed locally. Some apps provide the ability to add a Download option to user's Profile page so they
can download the e-Vis viewer app and install it. For instructions on
configuring this for a particular app, see the app's Administration Guide.
