Creating Spline Offsets

You can create an associative offset based on an existing spline using the Offset command. The new feature appears in the tree at OffsetCurve node.

Before you begin: Create a spline.

About Creating Spline Offsets
  1. From the Sketch section of the action bar, click Offset .

    Tip: In the Tools Palette, select Both side offset to create offset on both sides.

  2. Click the spline and start dragging the cursor.
    Offsets are previewed as you are dragging the cursor.

  3. Click in the work area to create the offset.
    The offset is created. A new feature Offset Curve is visible in the tree.
