Component Request Administration

Component Request Administration enables companies to efficiently manage the component request workflow process through request templates. Component Request Administration represents the request for approval, identifies the approval workflow at each maturity state of the component request, and provides additional information submitted with the request.

Component Request Administration is a dashboard app that lets you:

  • Manage your component request approval process and administer request templates.
  • Create request templates.
  • Configure the approval workflow at each maturity state of the component request.
  • Define the classification used to classify the response parts once the component request is complete.
  • Capture the request category that identifies the type of requests and defines the specific information of each request category of the component request.
  • Approve and reject tasks through the Approval Workflow tab.

Component Request Administration is an app that runs on the 3DDashboard. For more information on accessing Component Request Administration, see Opening an App from the Compass.

To use Component Request Administration, you must have the Supplier Item Manager role.

Component Request Administration is designed to be used with Component Request Management and Supplier Item Qualification.
