Related Items

Input Items include engineering items, manufacturer equivalent items, and source information. Input items also include attachments added to a component request that is in the In Draft state. You can view the input items in a Tile View or a Data Grid View .

You can use these actions from the Input Items toolbar. Input items can be added or removed in the In Draft, Evaluation, and Implementation maturity states of the component request.

Add > Source > New Source	Adds the source information.	Add a New Source
Add > Engineering Item > Existing Engineering Item	Adds existing engineering items, except those in the Obsolete state.	Add an Existing Engineering Item
Add > Engineering Item > Existing Manufacturer Equivalent Item	Adds existing manufacturer equivalent items, except those in the Obsolete state.	Add an Existing Manufacturer Equivalent Item
Add > Component Request > Existing Component Request	Adds existing component request.	Add an Existing Component Request
Remove	Removes the non-sourcing object. You can remove the object from the component request that is in the In Draft, Under Review, and Under Implementation maturity state.	Remove an Input Item
Delete Sources	Deletes existing sources.	Delete an Existing Source
Tile View/ Data Grid View	Displays the object in a tile or table.	Input Items
Sort	Sorts the objects by title in ascending or descending order.	Sorting Items in a View

Each input item has the following actions available in its context menu:

Action	Description	For More Information
Open with	Opens the input item in a selected app directly from the Component Request Administration app. Note: You can add the applicable apps to My Favorite Apps in the Compass to display as a default option.	Open an Input Item
Remove	Removes the selected non-sourcing object. You can remove the object from the component request that is in the In Draft, Under Review, and Under Implementation maturity state.	Remove an Input Item
Delete	Deletes the selected source object. Note: Delete only displays for source objects.	Delete an Existing Source

Answer Items include qualifications, manufacturer equivalent items, engineering items, and documents. You can view the answer items in a Tile View or a Data Grid View . Depending on the maturity state of the answer item, you can drag objects and add them as an answer item.

You can access the following actions from the Answer Items toolbar.

Add > Component Request >	New Component Request	Creates a component request as an answer item for component requests that are in the Submitted, Under Review, or Under Implementation states.
