Relationship Properties

The Properties tab displays details about the object.

This table lists the details about the selected object.

Important: You can edit the relationship name, level, preference status, and effectivity dates in the In Work state.
Note: An error displays for all invalid entries.
Field Description
Name

The unique identifier of the object, automatically defined at creation.
Product Category The category for the relationship.
Level
  • Potential Supplier
  • Candidate Supplier
  • Supplier
  • Partner
  • Refused Supplier
Preference Status
  • Not Preferred
  • Default
  • Preferred
Effectivity Start Date The date the relationship is scheduled to start. Click and select the effectivity start date. For more information, see Setting Relationship Effectivity Dates.
Effectivity End Date The date the relationship is scheduled to end. Click and select the effectivity end date. To activate the relationship, set the effectivity end date.For more information, see Setting Relationship Effectivity Dates.

After editing, select one of the following:

  • Click Save and Activate to create the relationship in the Active state.
  • Click Save to create the relationship in the In Work state.
  • Click Cancel to discard the new relationship.

A confirmation displays if you leave without saving your changes. Click OK to cancel your changes or Cancel to return to editing.

Action Description
Promote Promotes the relationship from In Work to Active state.
Demote Demotes the relationship from Active to In Work.
