R2022x FD01 (FP.2205)

Navigating the Home Page

The home page has been enhanced to make managing your supply network easier.
The following enhancements have been made:
  • The command title displays when you select the My Network and Configuration options.
  • Widget Title was removed from the Preferences.
  • The description of the app displays on the home page.
  • My Company was removed from the home page and added to the Configuration section. It was renamed Company Settings.

Benefits: The home page is now consistent across dashboard apps.

Updated User Experience

The user experience is updated to make managing supplier companies easier.
The following changes have been made:
  • The two toolbars on the My Network page have been merged into one toolbar and rearranged to group similar commands.
  • The Find command has replaced the Filter command.
  • The Tile View, Map View, and Datagrid View now display in a single drop-down list.
  • The alphabetical sort order is now the default sort order.
  • The last sort applied on the My Network page is stored and reused the next time you access the app.
  • The Information command now displays on the page toolbar with the other commands.
  • Now, you click to open and close the information panel. The information panel displays below the page toolbar and remains open while navigating the app.
  • Labels and error messages are now more consistent.
  • The mobile view has been enhanced to provide a better user experience.

Benefits: You can now efficiently manage your supplier company network.

Navigating the Map View and the Map Preview

The Map View and Map Preview are enhanced to make managing your supplier company network easier.
The following changes have been made:
  • Clusters of supplier companies display as on the map. Each cluster includes the number of supplier companies in the cluster.
  • A legend displays below the map:
    • represents supplier companies.
    • represents supplier company clusters.
  • Selected pins are now green with a blue border.
  • Selected clusters are now gray with a blue border.
  • In Map Preview, the map automatically zooms to the point of interest. A displays for the current location and a displays for a new location. The GPS coordinates display above the pin.
Benefits: You can now easily navigate supplier companies.

Adding Relationship Effectivity Dates

You can now set the effectivity dates for a relationship using the Effectivity Start Date and Effectivity End Date in the New Relationship dialog box and the Properties tab.
Benefits: You can now easily track relationship effectivity.

R2022x GA

New Home Page

The Supply Network Management home page has been updated. In addition to the new look, you can also access user assistance from the home page.
Benefits: The home page is consistent across apps.

Adding Product Categories

You can now add product categories to Supply Network Management using the IP Classification service. Now, you can select product categories and capabilities from libraries created in IP Classification.
The following enhancements were made:
  • A new tab, Service Settings, was added to Configuration and replaces the Categories and Capabilities tabs.
  • The Product Category field replaces the Categories field.
  • A warning displays next to the Product Categories and Capabilities fields in the Service Settings tab. You can hover over to display the tooltip.
  • The Category import history functionality has been removed.
Benefits: Provides a better classification feature using the IP Classification service. Improves Supply Network Management capabilities to work with other services.

Editing Preferences

You can now edit your security context credentials from Preferences. New security context settings have been added to the Credentials list.
Benefits: Ensures consistency across apps.

Managing Relationships

You can now manage relationships from the Relationships tab of a supplier company.
You can do the following activities:
  • Create multiple relationships and specialize them by category.
  • View multiple relationships from the Tile View and DatagridView.
  • Manage multiple relationships from the Identity Card and Properties tab.
  • View relationship activities in real time from the global Activities tab or from the related supplier company Activities tab.
Benefits: You can now create and manage relationships.

Enhanced User Experience

Supply Network Management has been enhanced.
The following changes were made to enhance the user experience:
  • Error messages have been updated to provide consistency throughout the app. Now, displays for all fields with invalid entries. The disappears after correcting the errors.
  • The order of fields has been rearranged on the New Supplier Company dialog box, the supplier company Properties tab, and the Information panel to ensure consistency among desktop and mobile devices.
  • The activities for My Company have been separated from the global activities performed in the app. Now, from My Company, only activities related to your company display from the Activities tab.
Benefits: Improves the user experience and consistency throughout the app.

Removed Capabilities and Categories Functionalities

You can now create and modify categories and capabilities from the new IP Classification Service.
The following functionalities were removed from Supply Network Management:
  • Capabilities
  • Categories
  • Managing Categories
