Managing Articles

This page describes how to read and publish articles from channels in My3DEXPERIENCE.

Sort Articles

By default, articles are sorted by relevancy. You can choose to sort them by publication date (newest to oldest).

  1. In your channel, click in the upper right corner.
  2. Select Recent to sort by publication date (newest to oldest).

Read an Article

By default, only an excerpt is displayed. You can click the article or post title to see more. Note that available actions depend on the article or post type.

Before you begin: You must have created a channel first. For more information, see Create a Channel.
  1. In your channel, click next to the article's title and select Read full article.
    The article opens on the source site in a new tab.
    Note: If the article is a 3DSwym item, it opens on the 3DSwym app in a new tab.
  2. Optional: Use the Write a comment field to add a comment to an article.
    Your comment appears under the article in the summary view, and next to the article in the details view. Your name and profile pictures are also displayed.
    Note: You can also like comments from other users, or edit your own comment.

Publish an Article

You can share an article from your channels in a 3DSwym community or conversation.

  1. In your channel, click next to the article's title and select Publish to 3DSwym.
    The Publish panel appears.
  2. Select COMMUNITY or CONVERSATION to choose where you want to publish the article.
  3. Select a content type:
    • Media
    • Post
    • Question
    • Idea
  4. Select the community in which you want to publish the article.

    Note: You can publish only in communities you belong to.

  5. If needed, edit the title and description of the article. By default these fields are filled with content from the article.
  6. Click Publish.

The article is published.

Note: Only users having access to the community or conversation can see the article you have published.
