Managing Security Settings in your Profile

You can access your 3DEXPERIENCE ID profile settings in the Account tab in My Profile while logged into the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. This is an alternative to accessing the same functions available in your 3DEXPERIENCE ID profile that requires you to access your 3DPassport through its URL.

  1. Log on to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
  2. Access either 3DDashboard or 3DSwym.
  3. From the Top Bar select Me > My Profile > Account.

    The Manage my security settings area contains options for activating your security settings:

    These options are available only if they have been activated by the Administrator.

    The settings available are:

    Update my password
    Click Update my password to update your password, as described in Resetting your password.
    2-Factor Authentication
    Click this option to use 2-factor authentication (2FA), as described in Setting 2-factor Authentication (2FA) for login.
    Send email notification
    Click this option to send an email notification, as described in Validating Your Account.
    Admin tools
    Available only for Administrators. Click this option to access the administration tools in the 3DPassport Control Center.
