About Functional Connection

By default, a functional connection is a link between two ports, which exchange the same flow.

If a configuration of connection rules has been defined by an Administrator through matrices, connections can be heterogeneous and follow these matrices describing the set of allowed connections.

Two types of connections can be established:

  • Delegation connection: A connection between a function and a subfunction.
  • Assembly connection: A connection between two subfunctions. Most of the time, assembly connections are named connections.
