Customizing Preferences

You can customize preferences for Electrical 3D Design and Electrical 3D Part Design.

  1. From the top bar, select Me > Preferences, and then click the App Preferences tab.
  2. Expand 3D Modeling, and then Electrical and Electronic Systems.
  3. Select Electrical 3D Design.
  4. Expand the section corresponding to the options to be customized.

    Section Description
    Import/Export customizes Electrical Process Interfacing.
    Device customizes the Robot placement and the multi-device connection.
    Branch customizes branches and segments.
    Conductor customizes conductor routing.
    Protective Covering customizes the instantiation of protective coverings.
    Flat Cable customizes the fold management.
    Logical To Physical customizes the logical to physical synchronization.
    Open customizes the preference for opening physical products.
    Data Review customizes the electrical attributes information to be saved

  5. Specify these options according to your needs.
