Customizing Preferences

You can customize preferences for Electrical Systems Design.

  1. From the top bar, select Me > Preferences, and then click the App Preferences tab.
  2. In the left-hand pane, expand 3D Modeling, and then Systems Architecture.
  3. Select Electrical Systems Design.
  4. In the right-hand pane, expand the section corresponding to the options to be customized.

    Section Description
    Instance Name manage the instance name for electrical types
    Applicative Tree manage the display of the extension node
    Sheet Connector manage cross references between sheet connectors
    Schematic manage options for schematic designs
    Relay Representation manage options for representing relays
    Display Diagnostic on Symbols manage the display of a diagnostic on symbols for objects which are deleted or not loaded.
    Stamping Options manage the display of a stamp symbol in a diagram view.

  5. You can also access the Diagram View tab available in the Infrastructure > Functional & Logical Design category. This tab allows you to customize the display in a diagram view.
  6. You can also access the 2D Graph F/L tab available in the Infrastructure > Functional & Logical Design category. This tab allows you to customize the 2D Graph F/L options.
  7. You can also access the Logical 2D tab available in the Infrastructure > Functional & Logical Design category. This tab allows you to customize the 2D representation for logical components, ports and logical connections.
  8. Set these options according to your needs.
  9. Click OK to save the options and exit the Preferences dialog box.
