Product Referential Metrics – Services Products List

Filters

You can filter the widget by several types of data. The filter optimizes the initial data set so that it displays faster. The filter remains in effect between sessions so you only need to set it once unless you want to change it. If a tab includes both the Services Products List and the Services Product Overview widget, setting the filter on one widget automatically applies that filter to the other widget.

To set a filter, follow these steps:

Click Filters .
Select how you want to filter the list. You can filter by any combination of the listed filters, and you can select multiple items for each filter. If you do not select a value for a data item, all of the values for that filter are used to display the list.
- Design Responsibility: start typing the name of the business unit, company, or department
- Life Stage: Development, Release, General Availability, Modification, Cancelled, Obsolete
- Classification: Financial Product, Financial Service, Financial Component, Financial Instrument
- Commercial: Yes or No
- Product Line: Start typing the name of a product line.
Click Apply.

To remove a value from a filter, click the X in the tag. When you set this filter, the app also applies that filter to any Product Referential Metrics - Services Products Overview widget included on the same tab.

You can change the widget title to reflect the type of filtered data you selected. For more information, see Setting Preferences.

Services Products List

Click to view as a list. When viewing the Services Products as a list, you see these columns. Click a column header to sort by that column. You can drag columns to rearrange them. The rearrangement of columns is not saved when you refresh the widget (the next session or if you use Preferences > Refresh).

You can click Export to export the table contents to a comma-separated values (CSV) file. The CSV file only includes the data visible in the table.

Click on any row to view that item's details. The app switches to tile view and slides the tiles to the left, and shows the Properties for the Services Product.

Services Products Tiles

Click to view as tiles. The tiles view shows your Services Products as small tiles. When you click a tile, the small tile slides to the left and shows details about that Services Product in the right pane. The details include these items:app

ID Card
Properties
Specifications
Documents
Logical Structure
Configurations
Revisions

Small Tile

When viewing the tasks as tiles, you see the list pane with a small tile for each Services Product and the details pane. The small tile includes this basic information:

Services product name
Product classification
Life stage

ID Card

When you click a small tile, the ID card slides into view. The ID card includes these details:

Services Product name
Product Classification
Life stage
Revision
Commercial

Click Open in 3DSpace to open the Services Product in Services Management. For more information, see Model Version Properties Page.

Services Products Properties

The Properties tab include mores details than in the list of Services Products:


Property	Description
Marketing Name	The marketing name of the Services Product.
Commercial	Yes if the Services Product will be sold, No otherwise. If a Services Product is not saleable, its Services Items cannot be sold.
Marketing Text	The descriptive marketing text for the Services Product.
Design Responsibility	The organization responsible for designing the Services Product.
Product Line	The product classification copied from the based on Services Product.
Candidate Markets	The regions or countries where this Services Product is planned to be marketed.
Name	The name of the Services Product.
Revision	The revision level of the Services Product.
State	The current lifecycle state of the services product.
Governing Project	The project that governs the development of the Services Product.
Current Phase	The current project phase of this Services Product.
Sponsor	A person who endorses this Services Product.

Specifications

The Specifications tab lists a tile view of Services Specifications added to Services Product. Click a document name. You can click Download to download the specification to your computer.

If you click the specification name, the small tile slides to the left and the Id card and property details of the specification display. The properties include these details:


Property	Description
Title	The title of the Services Specification.
Owner	The person who owns the specification, usually the person who created it.
Type	Services Specification.
Modified	The date of the most recent modifications to the Services Specification.
Description	A detailed description of the Services Specification.
Originated	The date the Services Specification was created. This is the date the specification was created as a deliverable for a task or as content.

To work with a specification, you can perform these tasks:

Click Download to save a document to your computer.
On the Properties list, click Open in 3DSpace to open the document in Collaboration and Approvals. For more information, see Documents and Content.

Documents

The Documents tab lists a tile view of Services Documents added as reference documents to Services Product. Click a document name. You can click Download to save the document to your computer.

If you click the document name, the small tile slides to the left and the Id card and property details of the document display. The properties include these details:


Property Name	Description
Title	Title assigned to the Business Document.
Owner	Name of the person who owns the document.
Type	Business Document. This is the only document type used for Proposals.
Modifed	The most recent date that the document was updated.
Description	A brief description of the purpose of the document.
Originated	The date the document was created.

To work with a document, you can perform these tasks:

Click Download to save a document to your computer.
Click the document name to view its properties.
On the Properties list, click Open in 3DSpace to open the document in Collaboration and Approvals. For more information, see Documents and Content.

Logical Structure

The Logical Structure tab lists the nested structure of Services Products. The tab shows these columns:

Tree shows the names of the nested products
Revision
State
Product Classification
Design Responsibility

Configurations

The Configurations tab shows a tile view of the Services Items defined for this Services Product. Hover over a tile to view its marketing text, the owner, and current state.

Revisions

The Revisions tab shows a tile view of revisions for this Services Product. Hover over the tile to view these additional details about the revision:
