Creating Bookmarks Using Cut, Copy and Paste

You can use Copy, Cut and Paste to create new bookmarks based on ones that exist in 3DEXPERIENCE and add them to the bookmark structure in the work area.

Important:
  • You can copy-paste, or cut-paste, or drag-and-drop a bookmark structure or bookmark content while the root bookmark is in the create maturity state.
  • Copy and Cut are available for both non-root bookmarks, and representations and references.
  • You can only paste representations and references in the case of non-root bookmarks.
  • Multi-select is available for Copy and Cut.
  • You can use Paste only once if it follows Cut.
  • You can use Paste multiple times if it follows Copy.
  • In Product Structure Design, before you use Paste on a representation or reference, you must save the changes made to it, otherwise, you will see an error message.
  • Cut, Copy and Paste can be used within a bookmark structure or between bookmark structures.
