Replaying Simulation Results

The simulation results can be replayed.

During the replay:

Values in the Signal Monitor window are updated.
The diagram and 3D animation is updated.
You can manipulate 3D shapes. See Managing a 3D Animation.
Plots are updated.
You can use breakpoint handling. See Applying Breakpoints.
If you have at least one Logical-Physical link in your model, you can use clash handling. See Detecting and Handling Physical Clashes.

During replay, you cannot change any values or attributes of the simulation; it is only a replay.

Results for one or more variables can be isolated using watchlists.

You can export selected variables to a .csv (Comma Separated Values) file for further processing.

The results for one or more variables can be plotted. From the Signal Monitor windows, you can plot single variables and variables in a watchlist.

Breakpoints can be applied to pause the simulation when the breakpoint is reached.

If you have at least one Logical-Physical link in your model, you can use clash handling.

You can analyze the variable dependencies for a signal to, for example, investigate why it behaves in a certain way.

You can analyze the numeric integration to inspect state variables that might slow down the simulation of large models.

You can analyze the events in a simulation.
