Editing Effects

You can edit the effects for your studied system.

A failure effect can be a calculated failure mode, if it corresponds to the failure mode of the function or operation, which is the cause of the failure occurring at a higher level.

Before you begin: Select a failure mode in the corresponding cell of a causality relationship. For more information, see Editing or Selecting a Failure Mode.

  2. Drag a failure mode from the Fallible Reference Editor or another widget into the effect cell.
