Generative View Styles (GVS)
In Drafting, generative view styles specify the appearance and behavior of a generated view. When creating or updating a drawing view, the 2D support curve is automatically generated onto the drawing view depending on drafting extraction parameters that are defined by Fastener GVS (Generative View Style) parameters.
To extract 2D support curves in a drawing view, you must associate a generative view style to the view. For more information, see Extracting 3D Spot Fasteners in a Drafting View. In addition, you must enable GVS by proceding as follows:
- Select from ,
- Clear Disable generative view style usage.
The path in GVS is
. The control parameters to use are the following:- Extract Location: Specifies if the curve needs to be extracted in drafting or not. Select Yes or No.
- Color override: Overrides the default color of the bead curve assigned to the Bead Process Type in the Fst_Standard file. For more information, see Customization of the Fst_Standard File. Select Yes or No.
- Overridden Color: If this parameter is set to Yes, the bead curve will be shown in these R G B values. Select Yes or No.
Important: Bead fasteners overlapped by other parts are also extracted. |
