You can use Modify Bundle to
modify some properties of the bundle, such as its stackings.
Important:
You cannot rename the bundle, and you cannot modify the stacking of the
bundle (move up, move down, remove, and replace) when the stacking is fully resolved.
There are two ways of replacing a missing fastened part.
In the tree, right-click the bundle you want to modify, and select Modify
Bundle.
If the bundle is unresolved, that is a part fastened by this bundle is not found in
the current session because it was deleted, do one of the following:
Select another part:
Select the row corresponding to the missing stacking part.
In the tree, or in the 3D area, select the replacing part.
Important:
Ensure that the common
father of the stacking parts and the bundle's father remain the same. In
addition, the selected part must be a logical brother of the missing
part.
In the dialog box, a stacking including parts broken links is
identified by a red dot. The row appears in blue to let you see the modified stacking part.
Use the Links and Relations command:
Right-click the row corresponding to the missing stacking part, and select
Links and Relations.
Click Reconnection to reconnect the stacking with the
brother of the deleted part. Click OK.
The dialog box shows that the stacking is valid again. In the dialog box, a valid stacking is identified by a green dot.
Load a Part Instance in Session
Modifying a stacking is not allowed when a part is not loaded in session. Such a part
appears as 'Part Not Found in Session' in the Modify Bundle dialog
box.In the dialog box, a stacking whose parts are not in session is identified by a
yellow dot.
Delete all the Stackings
To delete all the stackings and create an empty stacking group, click
Reset All Stacking, and then,
click Yes to confirm.
In the 3D area, select
the parts you need to recreate the bundle.
Select the parts in the 3D area. These
parts must belong to the bundle's father.
