Context
You can create captures for specific contexts.
For example:
- Functional product area
- Specifications that meet specific functional requirements
- 2D view equivalent
- 2D sheet equivalent.
ContextYou can create captures for specific contexts. For example:
DisplayDisplay a capture consists in showing annotations or annotations planes or both according to a specific context. While defining a capture or when a capture is set as current, you can specify which elements are to be hidden/shown in the capture. You can also specify a capture point of view by associating a camera in the representation. Notes:
Hide/ShowYou can manage the Hide/Show status of objects in a capture. By default, the capture stores the Hide/Show status for the following objects:
(*) When you select the Manage the visibility of product component, bodies and geometrical sets option, see Visualization Properties. The Hide/Show status for objects contained in a product instance, a geometrical set or a body is stored as is in the capture.
Editing CapturesWhen you edit a capture, you can select the elements and specify their Hide/Show state that is applied by the filter in the work area. You can edit a capture by selecting the elements directly in the work area and also with the help of a context toolbar. The Restore Show State button, the Visualization Chooser, an immersive dialog box, and the Edit Filter dialog box play an important role during capture edition. The Context ToolbarThe following

The Visualization ChooserWhile editing a capture you can choose the type of visualization you want in the 3D area. The Visualization Chooser is displayed at the upper right corner of the active tab and provides the following preview options:

visibility of elements contained in the visual filter. If an element of the
visual filter is not displayed because one of its parent component not

Restore Show State does not make the element
appear.
Naming UniquenessA view or annotation plane name uniqueness can be ensured during its creation or edition by selecting the appropriate check box in . Case sensitivity in capture names is considered only when creating captures. Select Ensure uniqueness of capture names check box in Naming Uniqueness section, see Administration. |
