Geoscience measurements are values that are derived from observation, a direct or a
known process.

From the Boreholes section of the action bar, click
Geoscience Reference Data.

On the Measurements tab of the Geoscience Reference
Data form, view the attributes that have already been created.
You can use two options for display properties.
- Click the icon to use the Tiles mode.
Each attribute is
displayed in a separate tile.
- Click the icon to use the List mode.
A table with three
columns is displayed: Measurements,
Description, and Action.

Click the add icon to add a measurement.

On the Create Measurement dialog box, enter the name of the
measurement in the Name field.

From the Data Type list, select the data type of the
measurement.

In the Source Name field, enter the description of the origin
of the data.

In the Technique field, enter the technique used for the
measurement (such as, Drill, Blast, and so on).

In the Unit field, enter the unit type of the data (such as,
feet, meters, and so on).

Click OK.
The attribute is added and displayed on the
Measurements tab.

Optional: On the Measurements tab, click the
measurement.
The ID and the name of the measurement is displayed on the right
pane.
The measurement is added and displayed using the properties that you have entered on
the Measurements tab.
