App Options Panel

The App Options panel provides options for various visualization modes, user selection filters and selection traps.

To access the App Options panel, from the Tools section of the action bar, select App Options .

	Only Current Body See 3D Shape Infrastructure
	Resize Infinite Elements See Resizing Infinite Elements
	Snap To Point See Working with a Support
	Working Supports Activity Deactivates the current working support when nothing is selected, or activates/deactivates the selected working support. See Working with a Support.
	Create Datum See Creating Datum Elements
	Insert Mode See Inserting Elements
	No Keep Mode See Keeping the Initial Element

	Temporary Analysis Mode See Performing a Temporary Analysis

	Pickable visible background Background is pickable and visible. See Managing the Background Visualization.
	No 3D background All geometries outside the specified plane are not visible. See Managing the Background Visualization.
	Unpickable background All geometries outside the specified plane are visible, with standard intensity but not pickable. See Managing the Background Visualization.
	Low intensity background All geometries outside the specified plane are visible, pickable but with low intensity. See Managing the Background Visualization.
	Unpickable low intensity background All geometries outside the specified plane are visible, with low intensity and not pickable. See Managing the Background Visualization.
	Lock current view point Current view point is locked. See Managing the Background Visualization.
	Advanced Selection Enables the advanced selection tools in the context toolbar.
	Save as Default See Administration: Saving Default Values Note: This option is only available in administration mode.
