Capturing Body Movements

You can capture simple movements of a human's body to create basic animations.

Important:
  • Animations created using this method cannot be modified afterwards.
  • You cannot control precisely the animation speed, as it depends directly on the manipulation speed after you run the command. Therefore, it is recommended to use this method for basic animations only. For more elaborate animations, consider using the Create Animation command.
Note: When defining a customized posture, or when applying a predefined posture, a transition is performed between the previous posture and the new one, adding 10 steps to the animation, for a duration of 0.33 seconds.

Before you begin: Open the Edit Human panel by clicking Edit Human from the Design section of the action bar.
Note: You can do so either before or after clicking Capture Body Movements.
